Group Harp Classes

Have you ever been curious about the harp? This is a hands-on introduction to one of the world’s most beautiful and accessible instruments. Participants will learn the basics, from tuning and technique fundamentals, to some beautiful Celtic melodies in a welcoming classroom environment. If you don’t have your own instrument, beginner rental harps are available for the duration of the class. No prior musical experience is required. Ages 10-100 (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)

This class is for those not brand-new to the harp but still learning some foundations. Emphasis will be placed on technique fundamentals, forming healthy harp habits, and enjoying the beautiful sounds possible from the harp. We will also work on music theory, repertoire, and learning both by ear and from sheet music. Ages 10-100 (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)

6 months - 1 year experience
1 - 3 years experience

This class is for the student who has learned the basics and is ready to explore more! We will check in on technique, delve into more complex arrangements and applications of playing, with more emphasis on musicality. Students will build a repertoire of tunes they can play anywhere. Ages 10-100 (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)

3+ years experience

This class is for the student who is ready to get creative with their harping! We will focus on developing our own artistic voice with the harp, analyzing the work of others and formulating our own arrangements and compositions. Students will also work on technique, theory, and repertoire. Ages 10-100 (Minors must be accompanied by an adult.)

Individual Lessons

One-to-one instruction to address specific questions and learning goals. Schedule lessons as needed to suit your schedule.
